JISOO's 'earthquake' Tops Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart

BLACKPINK’s JISOO has achieved her first No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart with her latest single, “earthquake.” According to Billboard, the track debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated February 26, marking a significant milestone in her solo career.

In addition to topping the World Digital Song Sales chart, “earthquake” secured the No. 47 spot on the Billboard Global 200 and ranked No. 20 on the LyricFind Global chart. The song is the lead single from her newly released mini-album, 'AMORTAGE,' which has seen strong sales and streaming performance worldwide.

Following the album’s release, 'AMORTAGE' reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in 45 regions. It also topped China’s Tencent Music K-pop chart. The album recorded over 500,000 copies in first-week sales, making JISOO one of the highest-selling female solo artists in South Korea.

On streaming platforms, “earthquake” garnered over 36 million views on YouTube and surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify within its first week. The song also gained traction on TikTok, where over 800,000 user-generated videos featured the track as part of an ongoing dance challenge. BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ and actor Park Jung-min were among those who participated in the viral trend.

JISOO is set to embark on her 2025 fan meeting tour, ‘LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!,’ with scheduled stops in Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi. In addition to her music career, she currently stars in Coupang Play’s original series ‘Newtopia,’ which airs every Friday at 8 PM KST. She is also set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint,’ scheduled for release in July 2025.
