BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ has set a historic milestone with her latest collaboration track, "APT.", featuring Bruno Mars. The music video for "APT." surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube in just 105 days, making it the fastest K-pop MV to reach this milestone.

Previously, the record for the shortest time to hit 1 billion views was held by PSY’s "Gangnam Style", which achieved the feat in 158 days. ROSÉ’s "APT." shattered this 12-year-old record by reaching the benchmark 53 days earlier.

Since its release, "APT." has performed exceptionally well on global charts, peaking at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the UK Official Singles Chart. The song's popularity has extended beyond YouTube, as it also broke records on TikTok, reaching 2 billion views in record time, and on Spotify, where it hit 1 billion streams faster than any K-pop solo artist's song.

In response to the overwhelming success, ROSÉ expressed her gratitude to fans, stating, "I’m truly thankful for all the love and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!"

Directed by Daniel Ramos and Bruno Mars, the visually stunning music video has captivated fans worldwide. With this incredible achievement, ROSÉ continues to solidify her place as a dominant force in the global music industry.

As K-pop’s international influence grows stronger, all eyes are now on ROSÉ and Bruno Mars for their next steps in shaping the future of music.
