Jimin and Jennie Set New Billboard Records in the US Market

BTS’s Jimin and BLACKPINK’s Jennie have achieved significant milestones on the Billboard charts, further establishing their presence in the US music industry.
According to Billboard’s latest chart update on March 18, 2025 (local time), Jimin’s solo track “Who” climbed 12 spots to No. 29 on the Hot 100, marking its 33rd consecutive week on the chart. This surpasses the previous K-pop record of 32 weeks set by BTS’s “Dynamite” in 2020.
On March 17, 2025, Jimin won the “K-pop Song of the Year” award for “Who” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles. This marks his first solo award at the annual event.
Jennie also achieved a new milestone with her first solo full-length album, Ruby, debuting at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. Three tracks from the album entered the Hot 100 simultaneously: the title track “like JENNIE” at No. 83, her collaboration with Dua Lipa, “Handlebars,” at No. 80, and “ExtraL” featuring Deutsch at No. 99. Jennie is now the first female K-pop solo artist to chart three songs on the Hot 100 at the same time.
With these chart performances and industry recognition, both Jimin and Jennie continue to expand their presence in the US music market.
