HYBE has officially announced the launch of a new boy group targeting the U.S. market. The project is a collaboration between HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, and Grammy-winning producer Ryan Tedder.

Auditions for the new group have begun through HYBE America’s official website (hybeamerica-audition.com). Applicants must be between 13 and 23 years old and are required to submit a profile photo, a self-introduction, and videos showcasing their vocal and dance abilities.

Ryan Tedder, known for producing tracks for artists such as Beyonce, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, has previously contributed to K-pop projects including TXT’s “Back for More,” &TEAM’s “Dropkick,” and KATSEYE’s “Debut.”

Bang Si-hyuk stated that KATSEYE’s success demonstrated that K-pop methodologies could succeed in the mainstream U.S. market. He emphasized that the collaboration with Ryan Tedder aims to establish a new boy group while continuing HYBE’s presence in the global music industry.
