BTS's Jungkook sets a new record on the Billboard charts

On January 28th, Billboard announced its latest chart for February 1st, revealing that Jungkook’s solo single “Seven” (feat. Latto) has charted for 80 weeks, landing at #72 on the Global chart (excluding the U.S.).
With this achievement, Jungkook has become the K-pop solo artist with the longest run on this particular chart.
“Seven” also saw an upward movement on the Global 200, rising 14 spots to #101.
Meanwhile, Jimin continues to perform well on the Billboard charts with his second solo album, “MUSE.” The album entered the Billboard 200 at #77, and its title track “Who” ranked at #25 on the Hot 100.
Despite being released in July of the previous year, both the album and the track saw significant jumps in ranking, 42 spots and 16 spots, respectively.
“MUSE” also topped the World Albums chart, while “Who” peaked at #11 on the Streaming Songs chart. Additionally, “Who” ranked at #22 on the Global chart (excluding the U.S.) and #16 on the Global 200.
Jin and V’s solo works continue to perform steadily as well. Jin’s solo album “Happy” reached #17 on the World Albums chart, and its title track “Running Wild” charted at #134 on the Global chart.
V’s “Winter Ahead” (with PARK HYO SHIN), released in November 2023, ranked at #123 on the Global chart (excluding the U.S.).
BTS’s anthology album “Proof” remains strong on the World Albums chart, placing at #6. The album has now charted for 137 weeks, increasing anticipation for a potential group comeback.
